After several days of hunting for the perfect layout and trying to figure out how things work (at least enough to get started) I am finally making my first post. It is my plan to use this as a way to keep family and friends current on the latest happenings in the Dille household. Every year I have this great dream that I will be better at keeping up with everyone, and the reality is that it simply doesn't happen. So, I decided that since I do a relatively decent job of keeping up with MySpace, that maybe, just maybe I would keep this current and give a little more detail of the current news from our home front. This is going to be a work in progress for a while as I figure out what all I would like here, please bear with me. I hope that you will join me for the ride, visit often (as I do plan to post often), and comment as often as you would like.
As a side note, I know the layout doesn't look quite right if you are using Internet Explorer, we're working on that... it does however look great in Firefox.
New Favorite Recipe
My wonderful friend Leanna is an amazing cook who creates spectacular meals. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing some of her tasty creations.
Harry's Pub Pizza Bread

Ingredients:
1 package 3.5 ounces) pepperoni slices
1 can (3.25 ounces) sliced ripe olives
1 can (3.25 ounces) sliced mushrooms (optional)
2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley (or dried parsley)
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp all-purpose flour (this is a must)
1 garlic cloves, pressed
2 packages (11 ounces each) refrigerated French bread dough
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
2 tbsp (1/2 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
1 can (15 ounces) pizza sauce, warmed (optional)
Dice or cut the pepperoni slices into smaller strips. Drain the olive slices and the mushrooms, and put into bowl, add the pepperoni and/or other meats. Add parsley, Italian seasoning, Mozzarella, and Parmesan. Press the clove of garlic and mix together well.
On a cutting board, lay out waxed paper, sprinkle with flour (this really, really is a must.) Take the French bread dough, seam side up, and slice open, half way (do not cut all the way through.) With rolling pin, roll out the dough width-wise to create a well. Transfer to lightly greased cookie sheet.
Spoon on pizza sauce (I used regular spaghetti sauce...) add half the mixture to each French bread "well." Extra sauce can be then used as a dipping sauce. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
