Oregon Coast, part 3

Tuesday was a pretty quiet day, mostly spent around the resort, however we did spend the afternoon (and low tide) at the Yaquina Head Lighthouse and protected beach with awesome tidepools. We were again blessed with amazing weather... very little wind, warm sunshine, and few clouds. Ethan had a great time playing on the pebble beach. Of course he fell several times and came home with a handful of new bruises on his knees... thankfully they have mostly healed already and didn't seem to slow him down. It still amazes me as he shows more and more that he is capable of so much and how he will just randomly decide he wants to do something by himself... there is a very long flight of stairs leading from the lighthouse to the beach below, he would have nothing of us trying to carry him up the stairs. He insisted on climbing them all by himself.

Just a couple goodies from the tidepools... the crab is being held by the ranger who found it... this is after she squealed because it pinched her.

The day wouldn't be complete without sunset from the lighthouse
